The African Cup of Nations kicks off on the 9th of January 2022 and has been eagerly awaited by football fans all over the world. The tournament is being played in Cameroon and will start with the hosts Cameroon v Burkina Faso on the 9th of January – kick off 4pm in the Stade Omnisport Paul Biya, Olembé. 

The African Cup of Nations has caused some controversy as the timing of the tournament will leave many of the English Premier League clubs without key throughout the season.
