The Estadio Mineirao has a capacity of 62,254 and will host six games of the World Cup 2014 Finals. The stadium was originally built in 1965 and is the home ground for Atletico Mineiro and Cruzeiro. Estadio Mineirao has been renovated for the World Cup 2014 but because the stadium is a listed building the roof has remained the same since 1965.
